Quick Passing .35″ Shower Complements Earlier Rainfall

Following up on the real  nice rain from Sunday, the plot received an additional .35″ today (Tuesday).  This pop-up storm luckily did not have any wind or hail in with it.  With the past two rainfall events, the corn hybrids really soaked up the water and dramatically improved grain fill.  I am anxious to see how the kernel depth looks once the plot is shelled.  Hand shelled individual ears look really good and show some of the deepest kernel depth for the individual hybrids.
